Overview

The Marketing Systems Training Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of training for all marketers and operators at Seminole Hard Rock Cafes, Casinos, Hotels globally. The Marketing Systems Training Specialist is an active training team member who will contribute and support the design and facilitation of technical training sessions.  The Trainer will work under the guidance of the Manager, Marketing Systems Training and partner with HR Learning and Development, IT, QA, vendors, property operators, VIP Marketing, Database Marketing and Loyalty Marketing.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILTIIES

  • The training specialist will be responsible for providing training of new hires, and on-going training efforts for employees at all levels. The job will be required to write extensively, creating training materials, documentation, and reports to effectively communicate technical concepts to audience in a simple manner.
  • Develop training course material for marketing applications, process, and procedures. Deliver and schedule onsite, webinar, and remote training classes for entry level to experienced employees. Evaluate, and review training materials for accuracy and relevancy.
  • Builds and maintains SOPs with a focus on classroom style training, enhancement training and “just in time” refresher training leveraging video content where possible. In addition to SOPs prepares detailed job aids.
  • The training specialist must be a self-starter who is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and facilitating training classes, and entering and maintaining database information. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, set priorities, take initiative, and exercise sound independent judgment within areas of responsibility and ability to manage a multi-project workload
  • The training specialist must have a strong customer service orientation, be incredibly detail-oriented, creative, and resourceful, and share the passion for systems training.
  • Partners with the Training Manager to identify and analyze emerging trends in quality performance while assisting with the development of solutions for problem areas.

 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree and/or at least 5 years of directly related experience
  • Experience designing and developing learning programs across various delivery mediums, including in-person classroom training, webinar, and online eLearning courses.
  • Experience in developing training plans for video, distance learning programs, and student guides. Experience with training development planning; assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, facilitate, monitor, and evaluate
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Share Point, Outlook), Webex/Zoom, Adobe products, eLearning tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to lead, direct, delegate and motivate others.
  • Working knowledge of adult learning theory. Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and attitude. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Willingness to travel in the U.S. and International
  • Experience in the casino or hospitality industry is a plus

Work Environment

  • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, but there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be prepared and able to handle, with composure and tact, the effective execution of many concurrent tasks in a fast-paced working environment
  • Travel up to 10% that includes domestic and international
  • This role can work from the SHRSS office at Davie, FL or remote
