The Loyalty Data Analyst will be responsible for performing routine and ad-hoc reporting on the Unity Loyalty Program, working under the direction of the Loyalty Data Manager and the Director of Loyalty.  A large number of reports already exist, but are not well catalogued or circulated to business partners.  This new person will be responsible for understanding, cataloging, training, and providing samples and guidance of those reports to business partners looking for data on the Unity program.  They will assist with building or modifying new reports based on business need.  They will also work with patron data to pull lists, pro- and post-forma reports, and other information for the Loyalty department.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day reporting tasks for the Unity Loyalty Program
  • Build simple reports in Excel with the ability to use or to learn to use Tableau and SSRS
  • Compile and maintain a list and samples of reports available within various systems including Engage, SSRS, Tableau and other systems that have to do with the Unity program
  • Communicate with other teams about the reports that are available to them, and provide training in the access and use of these reports
  • Work with leadership and business owners to take feedback and incorporate changes to reports and dashboards
  • Write and execute basic SQL queries dealing with Unity Loyalty Program data
  • Pull lists and coordinate data with other marketing teams to support promotions activity

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • Some experience with SQL Server and Query writing
  • Experience with documenting system Standard Operating Procedures and software functionality
  • Experience with training others and working with marketing departments to create promotions
  • Customer service experience, including both Team Member and Guest customers
  • Business Analyst experience

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong detail orientation. High degree of initiative and results orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience with SQL Server and Microsoft Excel required.  Experience with Tableau and SSRS a plus
  • Good foundational Math skills including statistics
  • Self-motivated and an action-oriented
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and agile environment that can pivot quickly
  • Must demonstrate positivity, a “yes we can” doer attitude, be team oriented, and a builder amongst challenges.
  • Willingness to work extended shifts during critical business periods

 

Work Environment:

Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting or can be done as a remote employee with frequent digital communication.
