The Tribal Career Development Program (TCD) is a professional development program for Seminole Tribal Members. TCD is committed to growing Tribal Team Members with tools to succeed such as hands on training, professional development, and leadership training, and mentoring.

 

Responsibilities

This program embodies an attitude and a spirit among all of our Tribal Team Members (TTMs) that calls for excellence and true professionalism at all times relative to the way we undertake all tasks.  We must each make a personal commitment to service excellence. 

 

TTMs will follow a customized Learning Path developed by the TCD Team and will work closely with each department team members during scheduled shift.  Following your Learning Path is imperative to your training and advancement.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled Member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Enthusiasm and Engagement

Work Environment:

Depending on the department and position, you will be hands-on during your training and because of the various departments within the organization to include, but not limited to, SGA, Seminole Hard Rock Support Services and Hard Rock, your environment will change occasionally. Some tasks may require lifting, carrying, standing in areas with second hand smoke.  Each department ensures a safe environment, provides a Corporate Standard uniform and follows safety guidelines.

 

Native American Preference Policy:

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.

 

As part of Seminole Gaming’s employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to an offer being extended. These background checks may include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Credit Check
  • Criminal Background Check
  • Drug Screen
