Overview

Seminole Hard Rock Support Services provides Information Technology Services for Seminole Gaming and Hard Rock International and their subsidiaries and/or franchisees.

 

The “System Administrator III – IT Operations Administration” will provide tiers 2 and 3 support for all aspects of Microsoft Server and Office 365.  and will focus on support and maintaining system stability for approx. 5500 server environment running Server 2012-2022.

 

This person will provide support for enterprise-wide server systems, physical and virtual.  Troubleshoot and provide resolution for service interruptions, using Service Now incident management and tracking solution within the appropriate service level agreement (SLA). Areas of focus include Windows Server OS support/configuration, SolarWinds and Dynatrace Monitoring, Exchange/M365 administration, AZURE vm support, SQL Server support, Veeam Backup/Restore, Rubrik, Active Directory administration, System Center and Intune administration.

Responsibilities

  • Works under the direction of the Manager – IT Operations.
  • Plans and schedules work to meet assignments from the manager or designated senior engineering staff who provides guidance.
  • Meets formally or informally with the manager or designated senior staff to discuss status, ask for assistance on intractable problems, and to review accomplishments.
  • Assists the IT Operations System Admins and Service Techs in providing third level support to the enterprise.
  • Assists the enterprise system, systems assurance, application development, and operations services in developing, implementing, and maintaining the technology infrastructure.
  • Accepts technical responsibility for equipment and assigned technologies.
  • Assists in the analysis, design and development of new technology.
  • Documents design, implementation and final configuration findings for both new and existing techniques and equipment.
  • Oversees systems demonstrations.
  • Analyzes problems, studies technical literature and existing technology.
  • Escalates intractable problems to vendors and/or senior manager for resolution.
  • Develops monitoring systems used to manage global infrastructure.
  • Maintains a current understanding of strategic product mix and vendor selections.
  • Opens problem reporting tickets and accurately uses all problem tracking software systems.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Must adhere to the Company's Policies and Procedures.
  • Provide server support for Windows Server 2012-2022
  • Provide support and administration for multi-forest Active Directory environment.
  • Provide support and administration in Office 365 which includes Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Intune, and Entra ID for multiple corporate and franchise verticals.
  • Fully support a dynamic server farm population consisting of Domain Controllers, File and Print servers, SQL, Application, and Web Servers
  • Must be able to work with members of the Technical Staff and Management in a fast-paced environment to identify, isolate and resolve hardware and software issues during testing.
  • Must maintain technical documentation for all systems deployed in the Enterprise.
  • Analyzes problems, studies technical literature and existing technology.
  • Escalates intractable problems to vendors and/or senior manager for resolution.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent training and experience is preferred.
  • Must have 7 – 10 years relevant application and/or IT operations experience.
  • Proven experience and track record in this position in an environment of similar scope and size
  • Requires well developed written and verbal communications skills.
  • Must be proficient with VMware and Microsoft server operating systems.
  • Must be able to travel to remote sites as may be required in support of operations.
  • Must be fluent in the English language.
  • Must comply with internal controls.
  • Must exhibit well-developed verbal and written communications skills.
  • Must have excellent collaboration skills.
