Overview

Globe Entertainment and Media Corp, a subsidiary of Hard Rock International, is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Product Development & eCommerce Manager to lead the creation and launch of new product lines inspired by its iconic image archive. This role will serve as the creative and strategic link between archival content, merchandise, collectibles, and digital storefronts—ensuring that Globe’s historic assets are translated into compelling and commercially viable products across retail and eCommerce platforms.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ideate, pitch, and develop original product lines that leverage Globe’s archive of historic photography and pop culture content, including apparel, prints, books, wall art, trading cards, limited-edition collectibles, and digital assets (e.g. NFTs).
  • Collaborate closely with Hard Rock retail teams and other strategic partners to develop co-branded merchandise and exclusive capsule collections.
  • Manage end-to-end product lifecycle—from concept development and prototyping to pricing, production timelines, and launch strategies.
  • Oversee all eCommerce relationships, including third-party marketplaces and Globe’s own direct-to-consumer platforms.
  • Work with licensing, creative, and legal teams to ensure proper usage rights and clearances for all products developed.
  • Analyze sales performance and market trends to inform future product strategies and optimize category expansion.
  • Liaise with vendors, manufacturers, and fulfillment partners to ensure quality control, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.
  • Develop brand-aligned packaging and storytelling for each product, ensuring all items reflect the historic and cultural significance of the Globe archive.
  • Explore emerging formats in the collectibles space—such as slabbed photo editions, signed memorabilia, AR-enhanced prints, and authenticated artist collaborations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Marketing, Business, or a related field; background in pop culture, entertainment, or merchandising preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product development, merchandising, or eCommerce, ideally within media, entertainment, or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong understanding of retail development, production workflows, and digital commerce ecosystems.
  • Passion for pop culture, music, film, sports, and photography history with an eye for curating content into marketable products.
  • Experience working with both physical product lines and digital collectibles (e.g., NFTs, digital prints, interactive merchandise) is a plus.
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to translate creative ideas into commercially successful products.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon, licensing workflows, and creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial.

Additional Information:

This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role that bridges creativity and commerce. The Product Development & eCommerce Manager will help define how Globe’s archive enters the market, bringing timeless cultural moments to life in new, collectible formats for fans, collectors, and retailers worldwide.
